How Do I Get Employee Information Into TribeHR?

There are a few of options for getting your employees into the software: 

  • First, login as an Administrator.
  • Click the STAFF tab on the main menu.
  • On the right side of the page there is a POPULAR ACTIVITIES menu.  From this menu you can either Add an Employee (one employee at a time), Invite Employees, Import Employees (many employees) or Export Employees.  The on-page instructions for each will make sure you’re set up in no time!

Hi there

This morning I have added two new employees.  

Just wondering why when I input data into the Employment Details and click save, nothing that has been entered below the Emergency Contact Name and Number saves the first time.  For both employees, I've had to go back and re-enter all the information a second time.  Thankfully, it does save the second time, but never initially.  Most aggravating.

I filled out the employee builder spreadsheet and saved as an xls file type.  I also tried the csv file type.  I cannot get either one to import.  When I browse for the file and select it, the file name appears in the correct window, however when I click on import nothing happens and the file name disappears.

Any help with this?

Hi - good question, I'm sorry to hear this is giving you trouble.  

Do you mind providing me with your browser and OS details?  This will help us recreate the problem which will help us identify what may be causing the issue.  Additionally, it will help if you are willing to share the employee builder file that you're trying to import!  You can send this to: donna@tribehr.com
